Preparation of a granulate by mixing at least one hard material phase (A) with a metal powder (B) and binder (C) and then granulating the mixture - carried out without any pre-mixing of (A) and (B) prior to mixing with (C), which has a viscosity of 20-200 (30-100) cm<3>/10 minutes at 195 degrees C and 2.16 kg load, according to DIN 53735. A process for making moulded articles by injection-moulding one of these granulates is also claimed, in which the granulate is shaped in a mould, binder is removed and then the material is sintered.

In dem Verfahren zur Herstellung von Granulat, bei dem mindestens eine Hartstoffphase mit einem Metallpulver und einem Bindemittel vermischt und granuliert wird, findet keine Vormischung der Hartstoffphase mit dem Metallpulver vor der Vermischung mit dem Bindemittel statt und das Bindemittel weist eine Viskosität von 20 bis 200, vorzugsweise von 30 bis 100 cm<3>/10 min nach DIN 53735 bei 195 °C und 2,16 kg Belastungsgewicht auf.
