Abstract (en)

The shunt (2) directly in front of a continuous belt (EB) and after the printer in the direction of travel (F4) of the strip (TB) covered by the labels (1) ends in a cantilevered arm. The shunt has a first deflector bar imparting a large transverse curvature to the label-carrier strip, and has a second deflector in the form of a roller across the direction of travel (F4) and which switches off the first deflector when it comes into operation. The second deflector imparts a slight transverse curvature to the label-carrier strip so that the front side (11) of the labels remain totally stuck down when passing the second deflector.

Etikettiereinrichtungen können mit Druckvorrichtungen zum Bedrucken der Etiketten kurz vor deren Aufbringen auf einer Verpackung ausgerüstet sein. Werden die Etiketten auf einem Trägerband eingespeist, an dem sie mit ihrer Klebeseite befestigt sind, dann müssen sie davon abgelöst und in geeigneter Form mit dieser Klebeseite an der Verpackung befestigt werden. Die Erfindung sieht dafür eine Förderweiche vor, die außerdem erlaubt, die Etiketten nach dem Bedrucken auf dem Trägerband zu belassen und dieses wieder aufzuwickeln. Auf beide Betriebsarten kann durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausbildung der Förderweiche leicht umgeschaltet werden. <IMAGE>
