Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0801013A1] The container has two bottom flaps (4,5) at opposite sides held closed by locking devices which have hooks (8) fitting under holding pins (7), with a return spring (17) and operating device (12,14,32). Turning-in springs (27) are fitted between the frame (2) and the bottom flaps. The turning-in springs turn the opened bottom flaps inwards to such an extent that when the container is set down, they are pressed into the closed position by the weight of the container. There are sideways-projecting holding pins (7) which turn the hooks against the return spring as the bottom flaps close till the hooks are in the recesses (31) made for them.
