Abstract (en)
The delignification and bleaching of a chemical paste comprises a pretreatment with a complexing or sequestering transition metal complex followed by treatment with hydrogen peroxide at a temperature T greater than 100 degrees C, a pressure greater than 1.5 times the pressure of saturated water vapour at temperature T and in the presence of a polymer with monomer units of formula -ÄC(R1)(R2)-C(OH)(COOM)Ü- (I) and/or (II) and in the presence of a compound A selected from potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide and alkali(ne earth) metal carbonates. In the formulae, R1, R2 = optionally different, H, 1-3C alkyl-group, M = H, ammonium group or alkali metal or alkaline earth metal.
