An outer part (8) of the running wheel (3) extends out of the pump housing (2). With rotation of the running wheel materials picked up by the worm shape of the outer running wheel are drawn into the running wheel aperture of the pump housing as pump input and are impelled. A somewhat tangential pump outlet (10) is provided in the torus-shaped pump housing and a drivable pump shaft (4) is connected coaxially with the outer running wheel part. A striker strip edge (17,18) or the worm periphery edge (9) have cavities (25) or raised formations (26) as obstructions for the disintegration of the solid material moved past the outer running wheel part.

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Pumpe mit einem torusförmigen Pumpengehäuse (2) und mit einem schneckenförmigen Pumpenlaufrad (3), das mit einem inneren Laufradteil (7) in das Pumpengehäuse (2) hineinragt und mit einem äußeren Laufradteil (8) heraussteht. Im Bereich der Schneckenumfangskante (9) des Laufradteils (8) ist wenigstens eine Schlagleiste (15, 16) mit einer Schlagleistenkante (17, 18) zur Verarbeitung von Abwässern angebracht. Erfindungsgemäß ist die Schlagleistenkante (17, 18) und/oder die Schneckenumfangskante (9) mit einer Kantenstruktur mit Vertiefungen (19, 25) oder Erhebungen (20, 26) versehen als Hindernisse für eine Zerkleinerung von durch das äußere Laufradteil (8) vorbeibewegter Feststoffe. Damit wird eine solche Pumpe insbesondere zur Verarbeitung biologischer Reststoffe für eine Verwertung in Biogasanlagen einsetzbar. <IMAGE>
