[origin: EP0801365A2] The heating device detects the wear if the individual components using respective sensors coupled to a counter device for detecting given operating parameters. The counter device is provided by a microprocessor which has a counter module and a memory for controlling wear indication displays (2a,2b,2c,3) for the individual components. The microprocessor may be coupled to a manual switch (4), which is operated for switching the displays between the wear indications for different components.A number of different colour display lamps (2a,2b,2c) may indicate the level of wear, with a second set of lamps (3) operated in turn to indicate the selected component.
