[origin: EP0801410A2] The cut-out switch has a contact set, a thermal and magnetic release and a PTC resistance (36) connected in series. The PTC resistance is positioned at the side of the breaker switch in a dished housing with its free edges lying against the side of the switch, the dished housing matched to the outer contour of the switch. The PTC resistance may have a rectangular plate element (35) matched to the socket of the T-shaped breaker switch.
