Abstract (en)
The helical antenna (26) is covered by a hood (16) and mounted on a base (30), for plugging into a socket (32) in the top of the housing (10) of the handset. A stud (40) protrudes downward from the base into a notch (42) alongside the socket. The position of the notch with respect to the earphone, on the far side of the housing, ensures that whenever the earphone is directed towards the user's ear, the antenna is as far as possible from the side of the head.

Appareil radiotéléphone portatif comportant un dispositif d'antenne (12) solidaire du boîtier (10) de l'appareil radiotéléphone et composé d'une antenne (26) et d'un capuchon d'antenne (16) recouvrant l'antenne, dans lequel l'antenne est située près d'une paroi du capuchon d'antenne et le dispositif d'antenne (12) comprend un moyen d'excentrage (30, 40) permettant, lors de la fixation du dispositif d'antenne (12) sur le boîtier (10) de l'appareil, de placer automatiquement l'antenne (26) à la position la plus éloignée de la tête de l'utilisateur de sorte que l'antenne soit toujours séparée de la tête de l'utilisateur par une distance minimale au cours d'une communication téléphonique pendant laquelle le dispositif d'antenne peut être amené à subir des mouvements le rapprochant de la tête de l'utilisateur. <IMAGE>
