Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0802139A2] The cutter incorporates an operating device for a cutter blade. The device has at least one energy accumulator. After operation, part of the stored energy is converted into kinetic energy for the acceleration movement of the cutter blade (1). The accumulator has a pressure chamber (21). This is positioned so that the energy is supplied as a compressed air jet. The pretensioned blade is relieved when operated. The accumulator may contain a spring, or a device to accelerate a mass, eg. an impulse transmitter for the blade.
