[origin: EP0802148A1] The running gear comprises a rail with a cross-section which has flange- and web-sections, while opposite travel and guide rollers rotate in supports coupled together below the rail. A hook for the suspended load is mounted on one or both supports. The rollers are mounted in supporting arms (4a,4b) hinging to and from each other on an axis (6) below the rail (1) and parallel to it. The load acts on one or both arms at or below the joint (10) between them, holding the guide rollers (9) pressed against opposite sides of the rail web. The arms can form frames (5a,5b) hinging on the axis and accommodating horizontal guide rollers before and after vertical travel rollers (7) travelling along the rail flanges (2).
