Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0802149A1] The system has a rail comprising flange (2) and web (3) sections, along which opposite travel wheels (7) and horizontal guide rollers (9) run. These rotate in brackets (4a,b) hinging together below the rail. The guide rollers are situated before and after the travel wheels which run along the flanges on opposite sides of the rail web. The guide rollers work in guides (11) running in the lengthwise direction between the flanges, and which are typically formed by grooves. The groove cross-section can match that of the guide rollers, being typically of trapezium shape with the edges radiused. The roller edges can run against the sloping groove sides, leaving a free space between the roller underside and the groove bottom. The rollers can be thrust under pressure into the grooves.
