A lamp holder has a pot-shaped mounting/installation housing (1) with attachments for a plug-in mounting box. Lamp holder contact elements (19) are fed via parts of the mounting housing and/or parts connected to it to the opening edge of the mounting housing. Connectors (25,26) for electrical cables are mounted in the vicinity of the opening edge. The connecting devices contain the contact devices (20) for the contact elements (19).

Ein Montagekasten enthält eine Lampenfassung (9) für Zweistift-Leuchtstoffröhren oder für zwei Kontaktstifte aufweisende Betriebsmittel. Die Lampenfassung (9) ist am Boden eines Anbaugehäuses (1) des Montagekastens angeordnet und insbesondere aus dem Boden dieses Anbaugehäuses ausgeformt. Sie ist mit Kontaktelementen (19) versehen, die jeweils einen Führungsschlitz (13) für die Kontaktstifte der Leuchtstofflampe etc. durchqueren und aus dem Anbaugehäuse herausgeführt sind. Im Bereiche der Öffnungsberandung des Anbaugehäuses sind Anschlußeinrichtungen (25, 26) für elektrische Leitungen angeordnet, in denen Kontaktmittel (20) der aus dem Anbaugehäuse herausgeführten Kontaktelemente (19) liegen. <IMAGE>
