[origin: WO9621783A1] Described is a frame-connector unit (1) designed to connect together at an angle, in particular at right angles, scaffolding assemblies (I, II) constructed from frame modules (2) consisting of two uprights (5) connected in the region of their ends by at least one upper and lower cross-piece (3, 4), adjacent frame modules (2) in each assembly (I, II) being connected to each other at least by platform modules (6). In order to facilitate connection of the assemblies, the frame-connector unit consists of one upright (5) and at least one lower and upper cross-piece (3, 4) of a frame module (2) plus cross-pieces (3, 4) which are connected to each other by a bar running essentially parallel to the upright (5). Attached to the side of the bar remote from the upright is a fastener which can be fastened to an upright (5) of the frame module (2) in the neighbouring assembly (I), the distance between the upright and the fastener on the frame-connector unit being the same as that between the uprights of the frame modules in the assembly which is to be connected up.
