[origin: WO9621784A1] The invention relates to a connector (1) for the through face connection of scaffolding assemblies (I, II) with frame modules (2, 21) of different widths, consisting of two uprights (5) secured together in the region of their ends by at least one upper and lower cross-piece (3, 4). In order to connect narrower and wider scaffolding assemblies together continuously at their faces without increasing the system complexity, the strut-like connector (1) has a length which corresponds approximately to the distance between the cross-pieces (3, 4) of the frame modules (2, 21). There are fasteners for the releasable connection to the cross-pieces (3, 4) at the end of the strut and the strut of the connector (1) is perpendicularly stayed by at least one arm, the end of which is fitted with fasteners for the releasable connection to an upright (5) of the frame module (2, 21).
