Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0803225A2] The suction joint (3) is coupled by means of a hose to the tubular inlet (2). It has a tubular end (4) surrounded by a projection (5) within an annular space (6). A locking element (7) in this space has an annular part (8) with two radially projecting lugs (9) which pass through slots in the projection (5) and engage with a catch (11) on the wall (1) of the housing. It has also a tubular projection (14) which is fitted to the end (4) of the joint, with a collar (18) terminated in a sealing lip (19) at its free end.
