[origin: EP0803334A2] The knife blade (2) is chamfered on at least one side and has a toothed periphery. The individual tooth segments are separated from each other by slits (4) running inwards from the periphery at a fixed angle to the radius. The slits have at least three different depths in a periodic alternation. The longest slit of each period extends as far as the area where the chamfer begins (5).
