Abstract (en)
The writing implement (1) has an ink reservoir (8), an ink transfer element (3) with a writing tip (3b). A plug (4) is situated between the reservoir and the tip to store excess ink from the transfer element and return it as necessary, according to the variations in pressure in the reservoir. The plug is made from a compact block of material with open pores, based on micro-balls, with different or equal proportions of micro-balls which are hydrophobic and hydrophilic with regard to the ink used in the implement. The plug can be in the form of a number of coaxial annular elements, with a greater proportion of hydrophilic micro-balls in the element closest to the ink transfer element, and more hydrophobic micro-balls in the elements furthest from it. The micro-balls are made, for example, from different forms of polypropylene.

L'article d'écriture (1) comporte un réservoir (5) pour l'encre liquide (8) et une pointe transfert (3) débouchant dans le réservoir (5), et un réservoir tampon (4) apte à absorber et restituer l'excès d'encre (8) en cas de variation de la pression régnant dans le réservoir (5), qui est réalisé sous forme d'un bloc compact en un matériau à pores ouverts à base de microbilles. Selon l'invention, le réservoir tampon (4) est constitué de microbilles à caractère hydrophobe vis-à-vis de l'encre et, en proportion réduite, de microbilles à caractère hydrophile vis-à-vis de l'encre, soit un mélange homogène dans tout le volume du réservoir tampon (4) soit un mélange différencié, la proportion de microbilles hydrophiles étant plus faible dans la zone immédiatement en contact avec l'excès d'encre et étant plus importante dans la zone la plus éloignée. La proportion de microbilles hydrophiles est de préférence comprise entre 2 et 10% par rapport au poids total du réservoir tampon (4). <IMAGE>
