[origin: EP0803441A2] The cooling unit has a contact piece (5) between each packing (P) and cooling register (1,2). This conforms to the facing sides of the register and has good heat conducting characteristics. The contact piece is easily plastically or elastically formed as a mat, cushion or suchlike, or as a fluid-filled cooling cushion. A force component (3) is provided and by means of which a selected surface pressure can be exerted upon the packaging and on the contact piece lying upon its upper face.
