Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0803610A2] Each chute (13) consists of a discharge unit (14) adjustable by means of a drive (24) relatively to the ejection end (12) and is extendable downwards in the direction of the track (15). The discharge unit has an input aperture provided at the ejection end and an outlet aperture forming a discharge edge. The discharge edge is arranged parallel to a reference plane (20) running through wheel spacing points (19) of the movement mechanism (2,10). The discharge unit may be provided with an echo-sounding apparatus (32), which in a regulating circuit (33) may be connected with a drive of a control flap (9) altering the cross-section of the chute, in order to maintain constantly the ballast amount in the discharge unit.
