Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0803636A2] The operating system for a roller shutter comprises a support plate affixed to one of the faces of the shutter caisson. This plate has an internal curved surface able to receive a casing (15,16) containing conical gear units (7,8). The gears in each unit mesh with the hoist and crank shafts respectively. The curved surface of the plate enables its angular displacement about a median position of one of the units. The plate curved surface, opposite the units, has several uniformly distributed grooves which form a rack. The rack ensures axial positioning of one unit relative to the other between minimum and maximum values.
