Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0803697A2] The cleaning device includes a jet (13) fitted to a lance (12) through which a cleaning fluid is supplied. The jet can be pushed into the tube with the lance. A positioning device positions and guides the lance to position corresponding to that of the tube. The positioning device can be attached to and released from the tube, directly or indirectly. There is a holding-back device for manual cleaning of the tube, arranged so that when the jet and lance are withdrawn, a mechanical force builds up to prevent the jet coming completely out of the tube.
