Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19542643A1] The invention relates to a process for the production of block copolymerisates by anionic polymerisation, containing at least one block A, comprising units of styrene or the technical equivalents (a) thereof and at least one block C, comprising units of a cyclic lactone (c), characterised in that the living chain end remaining after the construction of block A is reacted with a diarylethylene, in particular 1,1-diphenyl ethylene before reaction with the monomer (c) under conditions of anionic polymerisation. Another block B, comprising units of a diene, and also at least another monomer unit (a) are added preferably to the living end of the block A before reaction with the diarylethylene in a manner known per se. It also relates to the use of the block copolymerisate for the production of moulded bodies, films or fibres or as a phase provider in polymer mixtures. It also relates to the moulded bodies, films or fibrous material produced from said block polymers.
