Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9616176A1] The present invention provides a ligand toxin which has cytotoxic activity against cells overexpressing erbB3 and/or erbB4. The ligand toxin comprises a peptide having or including an amino acid sequence which binds to erbB3 and/or erbB4 fused to a toxin. In a preferred form the peptide has or includes an amino acid sequence substantially homologous to that of the epidermal growth factor-like domain of heregulin beta 2. It is also preferred that the toxin is Pseudomonas exotoxin or a derivative thereof.
