[origin: DE19716874A1] The clamp part (S) has base (1) and top (8) components each with a U-shaped bearing slot (1c,8e) to hold and guide corresponding faces (6c,6d) of a central piece (6). The locating shafts (5a) of bolts (5) screw into threaded holes in the central piece and baseplate (G) through oversized holes (3,3',9,9',2,2') in the base and top parts. The bolts have locking washers (4). The overall length (x) of the clamp part is varied by the user of the holder to suit the held part (W) by a height adjuster (7) attached to the horizontal leg of the lower part acting on the lower end of the central piece.
