Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0805021A2] The method involves operating a heat source (18) placed close to the laser light source (10) so that the temp. of the light source, which is switched on and off according to the image to be reproduced, is held as constant as possible. The heat generated by the heat source per time unit is increased when the light source is off and is reduced when the light source is on. The heat generated by the heat source per time unit essentially corresp. to that generated by the light source.
