Abstract (en)
An open-end spinning rotor comprises a rotor cup (11) and a carrier piece (12) for mounting, holding and driving the cup. The cup and carrier are joined together by a coupling (2) which is a separate component with a first capture part (21) for the cup and a second (22) for the carrier. Preferably the first or second capture parts or both have a spherical piece (25) which by virtue of the centrifugal force during rotor operation, locks cup or carrier with the coupling.

Für die Verbesserung von Offenend-Spinnrotoren, wobei der Spinnrotor mit seinem Schaff über eine Kupplung verbunden ist, wird vorgesehen, daß die Kupplung (2) ein separates Bauteil ist. Die Kupplung besitzt eine erste Aufnahme (21) für den Rotortopf (11) und eine zweite Aufnahme (22) für das Trägerteil (12). Dabei ist auch vorgesehen, daß die Kupplung einen Verriegelungskörper (25) besitzt, der kugelförmig ausgebildet ist und der in Folge der Zentrifugalkraft bei Betrieb des Spinnrotors den Rotortopf (11) mit seinem Trägerteil (12) verriegelt. <IMAGE>
