[origin: WO9623926A1] An ironing board for thoroughly ironing all parts of trousers, skirts and all two-legged garments whether plain or pleated at the waist and having pockets, as well as blouses, dresses and jackets, including the whole of each sleeve. Said ironing board comprises a long, thin board onto which the garment is passed and below which are two U-shaped supporting legs hingedly interconnected via their upper hozizontal arms so that they can be outwardly folded down on either side of the board, as well as means for interconnecting the lower horizontal arms of the two legs so that they are spaced further apart than the two upper arms, whereby the two legs are automatically stabilised in the erected position. Said ironing board can be placed on an ordinary table or on a standard ironing board.
