[origin: EP0806133A1] On both sides of the central frame, extending in the work position crossways to the direction of travel, are connected several arms joined to one another and pivotable heightwise. The arms support on the ground via probe components. The inner arms next to the central frame are pivotable with the aid of hydraulic cylinders operable by means of a control valve on the tractor. The movement of the arms is from the work position horizontally forwards into a transport position. A stop valve (24), normally closed under spring effect, is operable by means of a draw cable (26) from the tractor and is fitted on the hay machine in a hydraulic conduit leading to the cylinders (15a,15b) activating the pivoting movement of the inner arms.
