Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0806351A1] The two chambers (2,3) of a tea bag are joined at their base (4) by a folded flap (5) and at their upper edge (6) by a hot seal (7,8). A thread (10) runs between the two chambers and through the hot seal (15) joining the upper edges of the two chambers with a loose loop (14) holding a label (11). During storage, the loose part of the loop rests between the two chambers. In use, the two ends of the loop (12,13) are withdrawn by the label.
