[origin: EP0806389A2] The feed device has a feed table with an endless conveyor belt. There is a suction box under the feed table, connected to the underside of the belt by suction apertures in the feed table. The belt has suction holes through it. Each conveyor belt (2) has a single suction box (17) consisting of a single suction chamber (18). The suction box has at least two suction connections (19) spaced out from each other in the sheet conveying direction. The front connection facing the processing machine may be set at a spacing (b) from alignment devices (7,8) that may correspond to the highest of the format length of the smallest sheet size for processing.
