Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0806393A2] The folding device has an endless running belt (1), form journals (2) closed up to it, a folding point (3) with folding tools fixed to the machine along the running path of the journals, a positioner (5) for the strip (6) and a truncating point (7). The belts runs round continuously. The positioner, the folding point and the truncating point are one behind the other in the running direction along the path of the form journals. The journals may be fixed to cantilever closed up to the belt and guided along the path by a carrier plate (12).
