The rib sections (11) at their free ends have parallel and laterally displaced sections (15), which end in end sections (17) bent backwards through 180 degrees to the rib section main plane, so that each rib section in its end area forms a hook-shaped lock half, the middle plane of which is parallel and laterally displaced in relation to the rib section main plane. The parallel and laterally displaced sections of the rib sections can run outwards displaced to the rib section main plane and the middle plane of the lock half is laterally outwardly displaced in relation to the rib section main plane. The spacing between the parallel and laterally displace rib sections and the end sections may be larger than the thickness of the end section.

Es wird ein U-Profil zur Verwendung in einer Spundwand zur Abstützung von Erdreich, Beton u. dgl. beschrieben. Das U-Profil besitzt eine Querschnittsform, bei der sich von einem mittleren Flanschabschnitt (10) zwei Stegabschnitte (11) schräg nach außen erstrecken, an deren Enden jeweils eine Schloßhälfte angeordnet ist. Derartige U-Profile lassen sich zu Spundwänden zusammensetzen, deren Schlösser mittig im Stegbereich angeordnet sind. Die zusammengebaute Spundwand erhält durch die große Bauhöhe senkrecht zu ihrer Hauptebene ein hohes Widerstandsmoment und somit besonders gute statische Eigenschaften. <IMAGE>
