Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0806533A2] The control device has an electric drive motor (6) for operation of a setting element (3), which is adjusted to alter the function condition of the door lock and cooperates with a pair of levers or cams for the internal or external door handle. The setting element is driven in a uniform circular or linear movement with a number of alternate positions corresponding to the function conditions of the door lock, in which the movement of the levers or cams is permitted or blocked. The drive motor may be provided by a reversible DC motor controlled via supplied data telegrams, coupled to the setting element via a spindle drive.
