Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0806560A1] The regulation device maintains the optimum idling revs without incurring rough running of the engine, with detection of rough running via signals from at least one acceleration sensor attached to the vehicle and/or a noise sensor within the vehicle interior. The idling revs may be regulated via an electronic unit with a self-learning characteristic, which can be coupled to an active noise absorption system, for ensuring a minimum noise level within the vehicle passenger space.
