Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0806810A2] The antenna includes a curved strip (2) which functions as a quarter wavelength resonator. The resonator has a short circuit element (3) at one end. The strip is formed on a plate (1) and the short circuit end is fixed to the plate. A coaxial connection (6) is provided with the centre conductor (5) connected to the resonator and the outer conductor connected to the plate. The antenna can be tuned by adjusting the gap (A) between the second end (4) of the antenna and the plate.
