[origin: WO9623429A1] A roller skate with a shell, a sole-plate and a fitting thereon, e.g. a frame for the rollers, in which the shell consists of two half-shells (2, 3) which are joined and held together in the sole-plae region via the fitting (4). The fitting (4) preferably has a connecting means with an at least sectional outline acting together with the half-shells (2, 3) of the skate, while said two half-shells preferably each have a connecting component also with an at least sectional outline substantially negatively repeating the outline of the fitting (4).
