[origin: WO9623632A1] A setting tool for blind rivet nuts has a tubular housing (2) with a handle (4), an exchangeable mouthpiece that can be attached to one end of the housing (2) and receive an exchangeable tightening screw (12), and a holder (17) capable of moving in the axial direction inside the housing (2). One end of the holder (17) receives in a fixed manner an exchangeable driving mandrel (14) and the other end projects out of the housing (2) and receives in a fixed and detachable manner a handle (23) and a key. The free end of the driving mandrel (14) can be secured against rotation to the head (13) of the exchangeable tightening screw (12). In one embodiment, the mouthpiece is a threaded sleeve (5) that can be screwed into one end of the tubular housing (2) and fixed in position by a counter-nut (9). The mouthpiece contains a bearing ring (11) for supporting the head (13) of the tightening screw (12). The bearing ring (11) rests inside the housing next to the threaded sleeve (5) on a step (10) of the housing (2). In a second embodiment, the mouthpiece contains an end sleeve (26) that can be screwed into one end of the tubular housing (2), a plug-in part (2) secured against rotation inside the end sleeve (26) and a bearing ring (11) that rests inside the housing next to the threaded sleeve (5) on a step (10) of the housing.
