Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0807452A1] The supporting system is mounted on the cylindrical wall (1) of a fuel storage tank. It consists of a series of radial cantilever arms (2) which are fastened to brackets (5) held against the wall by a band (3) with tensioners (4). Each bracket has a U-shaped cross-section with a base and two sides. The ends of the sides are pressed against the cylindrical wall by the tensioned band and have the cantilever arms projecting from their bases. The sides of the brackets can have slots in them to receive the band.
