[origin: EP0807722A2] The fixing device has a large-surface head with projecting hollow shaft (2) for a fastening element (3). The inside of the hollow shaft is closed by a swivel cover which in the closed position engages on a projection of the head which is set on a surface running parallel to the cross-sectional surface of the hollow shaft. This surface is formed by a base (13) of an indentation (14) in the head. The base encloses the opening (15) in the head at least in part and the indentation holds the cover in the closed position. The projection is formed as a stud projecting substantially perpendicular from the base and engaging in a through bore (9,10) on the cover.
