The closure strip on the rear side (6) has at least one longitudinally extending ledge (7) for engaging behind a corresponding extension (8) of the frame rail. The closure strip has a smooth and even exterior as far as the openings for fixture screws and closure bolt for the door. On the rear side, at least one smooth locating surface running parallel to the outside. The closure strip comprises a single arm. The ledge with the locating area extends without interruption over the complete length of the closure strip. It is formed in one piece with the closure strip.

Eine durchgehende Schließleiste (1) für Türen weist einen Grundkörper auf, der in zwei definierten Bereichen seiner Rückseite (6) am Rahmenholm (2) zur Anlage kommt, wobei einer dieser Bereiche von einem Steg (7,11) gebildet wird. Dadurch reichen zwei definierte Flächen am Rahmenholm (2) aus, um die Schließleiste (1) passend an den Rahmenholm (2) anzulegen. Die übrigen Bereiche des Rahmenholms (2) können beliebig geformt sein oder anderen Funktionen dienen. Vorteilhaft ist es, wenn der Steg (7,11) in seiner Höhe anpaßbar ist. Dies ermöglicht es, auf unterschiedliche Querschnitte des Rahmenholms (2) Rücksicht zu nehmen.
