[origin: US5878605A] A lock for a door has a housing with an opening, a latch bolt and a further latch bolt both mounted to the housing for parallel displacement relative to the housing. A latch follower formed as part of a latch is connected to the latch bolt as is a changer, with the parallel displacement occurring due to the action of one of the latch follower via the latch and the changer via a key. A lock cylinder is situated in the housing opening. Two drive rods and associated control plates are provided along and a changer lever hinged to one of the control plates and connected to the lock cylinder. The lock cylinder can drive the changer via the changer lever and its hinged control plate. One side of the lock has, therefore, two drive rods.

Bei einem Schloß (1), insbesondere Einsteckschloß für eine Außentür, mit einem Riegel (3) und einer Falle (2), die sich parallel verschiebbar in einem Schloßgehäuse (1) befinden, wobei der Riegel (3) mittels eines Schlüssels (36) betätigbar ist und die Falle (2) wahlweise mittels eines Drückers mit Drückernuß (5) oder über einen Wechsel (17, 35) mittels des Schlüssels (36) betätigbar ist, und mit einem Durchbruch (21) für einen Schließzylinder (22) wobei durch den Schließbart des Schließzylinders (22) der Wechsel (17, 35) antreibbar ist, wird eine höhere Sicherheit gegen vollständiges öffnen dadurch erzielt, daß zusätzlich zum Wechsel (17, 35) ein Wechselhebel (28) vorgesehen ist, daß der Wechselhebel (28) an einer zweiten Steuerplatte (32) angelenkt ist und daß die zweite Steuerplatte (32) mit einer zweiten Treibstange (39) z.B. für ein Sperrschwenkbügelschloß verbunden ist. <IMAGE>
