Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0807738A2] The car door restrainer is combined with the door hinge. The restrainer has at least one braking and retaining body working together with a holding device possessing at least one stop notch. Relative to the hinge pin (3) axis, the braking and retaining bodies are arranged as sliding bodies in pairs lying opposite each other and are carried by a leaf spring joined to the pin which cannot turn, projecting radially. The sliding bodies are formed at the free ends of the arms of a leaf spring with at least two arms (11). The spring is star-shaped with at least two pairs of arms.
