[origin: EP0807857A1] An electrophotographic element comprising an electrically conductive support, a barrier layer and a photoconductive layer containing a polymeric binder having dispersed therein charge generating pigments (a) selected from the group consisting of titanyl fluorophthalocyanines and cocrystalline mixtures of titanyl fluorophthalocyanine and unsubstituted titanyl phthalocyanine and (b) having a particle size from 0.05 to 0.7 mu m, up to 30% of the particles are smaller than 0.15 mu m and less than 8% of such particles are larger than 0.6 mu m.
