Abstract (en)

The case (2) is made of hard thermoplastic with a ring (4) on which two or more preferably identical pushbuttons (5) are provided, their axes (7) intersecting at the centre (8) of the case. Each pushbutton comprises a short rod (10) of the same material and a flexible elastomeric head (12) moulded on to the outside (15) of the ring. The head has an outer surface (13) in the shape of an elongated bell which merges smoothly into the surface of the ring. It is formed by hot injection moulding over the outer end (14) of the rod, leaving a narrow space (17) around it to facilitate flexure.

L'ensemble selon l'invention comporte une boîte de montre (2) en matière plastique dure, ayant sur sa carrure un ou plusieurs poussoirs étanches (5) réalisés d'une manière peu coûteuse. Chaque poussoir (5) comporte une tige (10) en matière plastique dure, par exemple la même matière que la boîte, et une tête flexible (12) en matière élastomère qui est surmoulée sur une surface extérieure (15) de la boîte. La boîte et les poussoirs peuvent être fabriqués par injection des deux matières dans un seul moule. L'invention s'applique à des montres électroniques et à des montres mécaniques. <IMAGE>
