[origin: WO9624892A1] The invention relates to a protective casing for control levers (6) which on one hand have to be exposed and on the other hand to be protected in an enclosed condition. The levers (6) are arranged on a common carrier (8). The protective casing comprises two shell-shaped parts (12, 13) which are articulatedly connected with a carrier (8) via joints (20, 20') and interconnected via gear segments (23) or other means which forcedly provide a pivoting of the shell parts (12, 13) in opposite directions around the appurtenant joints (20, 20').
