Abstract (en)
The mirror unit comprises two or more parallel mirrors spaced apart and with their reflective surfaces towards each other, the front one being partly translucent. The reflective coating of the rear mirror (3) is interrupted by engravings (5) or recesses without a reflective coating and through which light can pass, and a light source is situated behind this mirror. The engravings and recesses can be formed by advertising slogans and patterns, while the complete unit (1) forms a closed box. The light source can also be formed by a closed box (6) behind the rear mirror and of the same length and width as the mirror unit.

Es wird eine Spiegelanordnung mit Tiefenwirkung geschaffen, die insbesondere zur Ausgestaltung von Räumen geeignet ist und im wesentlichen zwei, in einem Abstand parallel mit ihren Spiegelflächen zueinanderangeordneten Spiegeln umfaßt, wobei der die Einblickseite der Spiegelanordnung bildende vordere Spiegel teilweise lichtdurchlässig ist und die lichtundurchlässige Spiegelschicht des hinteren Spiegels mit Gravuren bzw. Ausnehmungen versehen ist, in bzw. bei denen die Spiegelschicht fehlt, und durch welche Licht hindurchtreten kann, wobei hinter dem hinteren Spiegel eine Lichtquelle vorgesehen ist. <IMAGE>
