Abstract (en)
A first deflector at the inlet end (21) receives the incoming strip (6) in a first plane, and diverts it sideways via contact points (35-40) at inlet and outlet to the outgoing position (10). One contact point at least can be inclined to the lengthwise direction of the strip, and the deflecting curves can be to different radii, being typically formed by cone surfaces. The strip can be deflected via one or more further intermediate curves (32,33) which are of constant radius over the strip width, and which are inclined to the incoming and outgoing strip sections.

Eine Lagenbahn (2) wird an konischen Umlenkungen (31, 34) seitlich entgegengesetzt ausgelenkt, so daß bei geringer Vorrichtungshöhe und kleinen Umlenkwinkeln der einlaufende und der auslaufende Bahnabschnitt (6, 10) seitlich versetzt zueinander mit parallelen Laufrichtungen (16, 20) liegen. Die Umlenkungen (31, 34) können in einer Taumelbewegung jeweils gesondert verstellt werden und sind mit Kardangelenken (54) an einem Träger (14) befestigt. <IMAGE>
