[origin: DE19616061C1] The expansion joint profile, to seal expansion joints in the plaster and thermal insulation layers of the outer skin of buildings, has an expansion compensation plate (9) which is elastic and pref. of a foam material, adhesive bonded between the side rails (7). Plastering angles (10), of glass fibre material, are secured to the outer surfaces of the side rails (7). The side rails (7) with their visible legs (8), are of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The expansion joint (3) is filled with polystyrene and the like.

Dehnfugenprofil zur Abdichtung von Dehnfugen in der eine Putzschicht und eine Wärmedämmschicht umfassenden Außenhaut von Gebäuden, mit elastisch gegeneinander verschiebbaren, klemmend in die Dehnfuge eingreifenden Seitenschienen und einer vorderseitigen Abdeckung, wobei zwei getrennte, vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff bestehende Seitenschienen vorgesehen sind, die jeweils vorne abgewinkelte dichtend gleitend aneinander anliegende, im wesentlichen in der Außenebene der Putzschicht liegende Sichtschenkel aufweisen. <IMAGE>
