[origin: EP0808959A2] The system comprises self-supporting panels which have continuous channel-section frame members and are divided into segments by profiled supporting members (4) at right angles to the channel-section members. Each segment is formed by a core layer, and each panel has a covering layer (9) on one or both sides. These layers are of single or composite materials of the necessary density and composition, depending on whether they are to be used for an outside wall, roof or internal partition. The profiled members (4) between adjacent segments have ribs extending towards each other so as to form an intervening space (8) into which filler material is delivered. In the space enclosed by their three sides they have indentations undercut at two sides. Profiled connecting components are fitted between adjacent panels, being suitable for use in a wall or roof as desired.
