Abstract (en)
The connector joins mats which have rectangular holes between welded horizontal and vertical bars. The connection is made between two vertical bars (1,2) which have a separation between them. The connector is W-shaped, and is made from sheet metal in the manner of a bent clip (3), whose middle limb (M) is shorter than the outer limbs (L,R). The section modulus of the middle limb against deformation, is greater than that of both outer limbs. The middle limb may also be n-shaped, and the total width (B) of the clip may be roughly three times the thickness of the bars.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Mattenverbinder (5) für Zäune. Stahlgittermatten werden zu einem Zaun endlos aneinandergereiht, indem die beiden äußeren Vertikalstäbe benachbarter Matten durch umgeformte w-förmige Verbinder (5) aus Edelstahl verklammert werden. Eine spezielle Hebelzange erleichtert die Montage der Zaunverbiner (5). Mit der Erfindung erübrigt sich die exakte Positionierung von Zaunpfosten zueinander, die Zaunmontage wird erleichtert und eine optisch ansprechende Zaunverbindung realisiert. <IMAGE>
